SSI Not Appearing in Browser
I activated Contribute on a site I've been managing for some time. Once
Contribute was activate and a page edited, the Include disappears. When I
de-activate Contribute & upload the file, the include is back. This applies to
includes with either the .htm or .lbi. No attempt has been made to edit the
include. I'm not using templates.
Can anyone help?

what method is the file being included? ssi asp php ??
and- is the include a complete html document, or only what's needed where

Re: SSI Not Appearing in Browser
I have switched my DW-MX 04 to remove Contribute settings so that I could get
the pages working correctly but each time an end use does an update with
COntribute I have to go back and do a re-posting from non-contribute enabled
DW. Point being, there are no faulty pages to show you but you can look at a
typical page that I've had this problem with at
http://www.geocities.com/abseconplanner/Plan_prof/index.htm.
It's a server side include using a library item (.lbi) but I've tested .inc
and .htm as includes as well. Same deal. Being included into an html page.
There are no body, head of other such tags. There is javascript but I tested
this stripping EVERYTHING out of the include, including the javascript.
Thanks.
