    Default start buttom and taskbar disappear

    can someone be kind to help me find the ways to restore
    the "start" button and the taskbar?

    someone played with my computer and somehow the "start"
    button and the taskbar disappear.

    Hi Cristina,

    Start/settings/Taskbar and Start Menu, uncheck the autohide option.

    Thanks, Rick. However, the "autohide" option is showing
    uncheck already. The taskbar and start menu are still
    unavailable.

    Hi Cristina,

    Do they appear when you approach the edge with the mouse cursor?

    If not, try a System Restore.

    >go to properties and find task bar area then uncheck hide
    task bar. i keep mine hidden i just lower mouse to bottom
    of screen and wala there's my task bar.
