    Default Starting on a spread

I have 11 pages in acrobat professional 7.0.8 and have the display setting on facing-continous. The pages are 2-3, 4-5, 6-7 etc of a brochure but acrobat displays them as 2; 3-4; 5-6 and the spreads are all messed-up. Can I 'start' the document on a left hand page so the correct spread 2-3 will be displayed properly?

As far as I know, you can't do it unless you include a page (even blank) before page 2. So you could remake the PDF including page 1.

A tip: If you can't remake the PDF, you can create a blank page PDF in Acrobat 7. Hold down the Shift key and choose File > Create PDF and the From Blank Page option is available which creates a temporary blank page document. Save it. Then use the Document > Insert Pages command, or drag thumbnails in the Pages panel to add the blank page to your document as page 1.
