Startup/Restart Problems in Lombard
My Lombard is experiencing an annoying problem. About half the time
when I need to restart it, the display goes dark and nothing happens.
The power and/or battery must be removed for about ten seconds before it
can be started.
When the power is removed, the date and time are lost and must be
reset. I pulled the battery and measured it. I see 3V and 6V on the
two wires which would be what one would expect for two lithium cells.
It's my suspicion these two are related. Any suggestions?

It sure does sound like whatever the PRAM battery connects to is not
benefiting from the battery.

Re: Startup/Restart Problems in Lombard
For what its worth...my Lombard had startup and other problems and I was
advised to unplug the 'clock' battery for a few minutes, then push
'reset' one time. Some how that worked for a while but had to replace
the clock battery anyhow. Most mysterious but it did work. Good luck....
