Default Still can't get mouse changes to keep

    Hello all.
I can't get the mouse to stay on "4" for the scrolling option under "wheel"
in Control Panel. I hit apply but the next time I restart it reverts back to
    "1"
Any help would really be appreciated

Try changing it to 4, then goto Start>>Shut Down. then
just power your computer back on. this should save the
setting in there for you. u could also do log off, but i
    would just reboot it.
