Stop/Start services
I have a Windows 2000 with Exchange 2000 installed. Server
seems to run OK for users. After the server has been
running for about 5 minutes it is impossible to stop or
restart any service. I receive a message stating the
service is not responding. The MMC shows the service state
as stopping. Reboot is the only fix. This server takes
about 30 minutes to restart. SP4 and all hot fixes
installed. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
James

Re: Stop/Start services
Can you try the resource kit sc.exe for Windows 2000 and see what's the
output for "sc query <service name>" and "sc qc <service name>?
