    Default stored procedure value

    How can I bind a stored procedure value to a page? I've executed a stored
    procedure and there should be two column values created...i.e. col1 and col2
    that are returned for use in the page. Is there a way to debug the the stored
    precedure execute command to see what is returned? Here is my SP execute code:
    If Request.Form('Submit') <> '' Then set cmdAlloAmts =
    Server.CreateObject('ADODB.Command') cmdAlloAmts.ActiveConnection =
    MM_DBConn_STRING cmdAlloAmts.CommandText = 'dbo.app_get_alloc_ABR'
    cmdAlloAmts.Parameters.Append cmdAlloAmts.CreateParameter('@RETURN_VALUE', 3,
    4) cmdAlloAmts.Parameters.Append cmdAlloAmts.CreateParameter('@alloc_type',
    200, 1,20,cmdAlloAmts__alloc_type) cmdAlloAmts.Parameters.Append
    cmdAlloAmts.CreateParameter('@ddo', 200, 1,3,cmdAlloAmts__ddo)
    cmdAlloAmts.Parameters.Append cmdAlloAmts.CreateParameter('@ay', 200,
    1,4,cmdAlloAmts__ay) cmdAlloAmts.CommandType = 4 cmdAlloAmts.CommandTimeout = 0
    cmdAlloAmts.Prepared = true setcmdAlloAmts.Execute End If Any help is
    appreciated. Thanks. -D-

    Default Re: stored procedure value

    I re-wrote the code to execute the stored procedure as follows: Dim
    cmdAlloAmts__alloc_type cmdAlloAmts__alloc_type = '' if(Request('allo_type') <>
    '') then cmdAlloAmts__alloc_type = Request('allo_type') Dim cmdAlloAmts__ddo
    cmdAlloAmts__ddo = '' if(Request('ddomenu') <> '') then cmdAlloAmts__ddo =
    Request('ddomenu') Dim cmdAlloAmts__ay cmdAlloAmts__ay = '' if(Request('AY')
    <> '') then cmdAlloAmts__ay = Request('AY') If Request.Form('Submit') <> ''
    Then Query_Allo_Amt = 'exec app_get_alloc_ABR 'STRATEGY', 'AUS', 2005' Set
    rsAlloAmts = Server.CreateObject('ADODB.Recordset') rsAlloAmts.ActiveConnection
    = MM_DBConn_STRING rsAlloAmts.Source = Query_Allo_Amt rsAlloAmts.CursorType = 0
    rsAlloAmts.CursorLocation = 2 rsAlloAmts.LockType = 1 rsAlloAmts.Open() End If
    I have the values hard-coded into the SP execute line, but I need to replace
    the hard-coded values with variables before the SP executes. I think I need to
    use REPLACE, but not sure how to re-write the SQL line with the variables
    included. How do I re-write the line to replace the hard-coded values with the
    variables? I tried: Query_Allo_Amt = 'exec app_get_alloc_ABR' +
    Replace(cmdAlloAmts__alloc_type) + Replace(cmdAlloAmts__ddo) +
    Replace(cmdAlloAmts__ay) + ''' I received the following error: Wrong number
    of arguments or invalid property assignment Thanks for any help! -D-
