Stored procedure without params

hi,
i try to execute a stored procedure (Oracle) without parameters, and just get
the returncode. but I get an error

here my code :

<cfstoredproc procedure="GET_NEW_REQUEST_ID" datasource="#request.SelectDsn#"
returncode="yes">
</cfstoredproc>
<cfset reqId = #cfstoreproc.statusCode#>

here the Oracle stored procedure :

function GET_NEW_REQUEST_ID return number as
RequestId number;
begin
select SEQ.nextval into RequestID from dual;
return(RequestId);
end GET_NEW_REQUEST_ID;


here my error :

Error Executing Database Query.
[Macromedia][Oracle JDBC Driver][Oracle]ORA-01008: not all variables bound

Can someone help me ?

Stored procedure and functions are different in Oracle. Cretae procedure first for the same purpose.

i've created a procedure to call the function

procedure GET_NEW_REQUEST_ID (
requestId out number
)
as
begin
requestId := GET_NEW_REQUEST_ID;
end GET_NEW_REQUEST_ID;

and that works
