Re: Strange Multiply layer problem
I know that this is a known problem but I can't remember how to resolve it. And I can't get the search function to work. So here are a couple of ideas- make sure you're updated to 7.01 and as soon as the search is working has a good root through as this was definitely raised previously.
Sorry I can't be any more help than that!

Re: Strange Multiply layer problem
I hadn't heard of the problem. Strange lines makes me think video drivers. As a test, go into control panel and select the System Applet. Under the performance tab, choose video/graphics and set Hardware Acceleration to NONE. If that solves the problem, it's video drivers. You may need to update OR roll back a version of vid drivers.
It may not be the issue, but it's a simple and easy test to see.
Peace,
Tony

Re: Strange Multiply layer problem
Try going to the display settings for your video card and turn down the hardware acceleration.

Damn it! I posted this answer twice. I don't know why my posts aren't taking.

Re: Strange Multiply layer problem
Simon,
Please post your question once only - it can make things more difficult for you to retrieve answers and for others to know where to post.
Because of the extreme slowness of the forums at present, it has taken me over 15 mins to move the other answers here and delete your duplicate post.

Re: Strange Multiply layer problem
Ah, glad to know it was a duplicate post. Thanks Carol, I thought I was insane. Of course, knowing that it was a duplicate post doesn't prove it one way or the other really <grin>.

Re: Strange Multiply layer problem
didn't ps7.0 have a multiply bug? I think it's covered in the FAQ. Didn't 7.01 upgrade fix it?
dave
