Default Strange problem...some functions just don't work.

Today, my photshop 7 began doing strange things.

When I attempt to perform certain tasks, photshop won't do them.

For example. If I attempt to make a change to my document using "Image size" nothing happens. I don't get the "Image size" window. I don't get an error message. The mouse moves aroung, menues pull down, but are greyed out, I cannot do anything to my doc. And strangely enough, the curser swiches over to the eyedropper tool...which works. Most times, if I hit the "escape" key, I regain control of the program. I have the same problem with the "Hue and Saturation" function, and a couple of others in that same menu.

I have reinstalled photoshop, rebooted, deframented, scanned my disc for errors and cleaned up the disc.

    Any ideas?

    thanks

    Bingo. That was it!

I had a video card go south, and had messed with the double dual monitor set up.

I was afraid that it was something that simple.

    Thanks,
