Strange Yellow Backgrounds
Hello, all. I'm having a bit of a problem with backgrounds. I have a client who sends me PDFs that they make out of Quark 6.0 for Mac. I Take the PDFs, open them in Acrobat, save them out as EPSs, then RIP them using RAMPAGE 8.6b27. All of the pages look fine in Acrobat, but when the screen DLT preview comes up in RAMPAGE, some of the images have a yellow background. Checking the "Correct Discolored Background box in the EPS options gives me the idea that I'm not the first to run into this, but has no effect on the images. Thanks in advance for any help.

Re: Strange Yellow Backgrounds
Troy,
Besides WHY are you re-purposing the PDFs in this way ... have you
checked the backgrounds using Enfocus Pitstop or Acrobat 6 Professional
... This way you can gain a handle on any background colours ....
