Hello all. I am a software developer for a major metropolitan fire department
and we are investigating adding streaming audio to our intranet site.
Specifically, we are looking at giving our members the ability to monitor
approximately 20 tactical radio channels from their desktops. We anticipate
the potential for up to 250 simultaneous connections (and potentially that
number could be higher, as we have 1700+ members and we handle dispatches for
about 20 other towns and cities within our metro area who all have access to
our intranet), but our real concern is what it will take to be able to
simultaneously capture 20 live audio feeds and then be able to stream them out.

We are already using Flash for portions of our intranet site, so we are
considering using Communication Server to drive this operation. Does anyone
have experience with something like this? If so, we would really appreciate
any info you could pass along. Thanks!
