stretching page width
I am designing a webpage that has boxes in the center with spaces between them.
I want to be able to have the screen stretch for wide screens, but still have
the main portion of my webpage stay the same size and shape. i've added a
column on each side of the main body and wonder if there is some way to make
those columns stretch, but leave the center portion intact.

I can't preview that code at the moment, but you could set the tables to have a percentage width instead of a fixed size. Then it will adjust its self for various resolutions.

Thank you for responding. I have the table width set at 100%, but I don't want
the main body of the webpage to expand. I only want the left and right margins
to expand. And I would like them to expand uniformly. A perfect example is
[url]www.msn.com[/url]
I really like how both sides of the main body expand uniformly when you make
it full screen. Do you know how to do that?

Yes - you would do it the way I explained earlier. Using tables, make the
left and right columns a fixed width, and the center column a percent width.
