    With the desired stroke selected, go Xtras > Path Operations > Expand
    Stroke.

    Hi!

    Almost everything in Freehand is easier than in other apps.

    Use "expand stroke" command. Select the stroke - Modify>alter path>expand
    stroke

    it's offcourse faster to use the toolbars. Window>toolbars>extra operations
    You'll find the button at bottom left side of screen.

    A pop-up will show and you can change the width of the stroke before
    expanding, or just press ok to expand to the width the stroke was drawn with.
