Successful connection but no tables
:confused; Hi all
I have a database on a winxp machine with a working DSN for it, The connection
works fine on Windows Xp machine and in DW I can connect up and create
recordsets etc using it.
I have tried to connect to it on my Apple Mac, I can see the DSN in the drop
down list and Dreamweaver says it connects to it just fine, but it will not
display the database tables in the databases window. If I try to create a
recordset I get "Unable to retrive tables for this connection, click on define
to test this connection" Which I do and it says it is working fine.
Details:
Server machine: Win XP working fine with Dreamweaver connection, firewalls off
DSN: Standard system DSN using MS access drivers
Development machine: apple Powermac g5 connecting over a lan, can browse the
web server via http fine using safari, camino, mozilla
Both machines use mx 2004 7.01
Umm any help would be great
Thanks
Joe
