    Illustrator just dissapears!
I am having a problem where I am working either in Illustrator, or Photoshop with Illustrator open, when Illustrator just dissapears.

It seems to be crashing like this within even an hour of use.

There is no warning- no flashing bottom icon, nothing pops up, The program just rapidly closes- its just gone. I am losing work because there is no chance of saving my work with this crash.

    Any idea what is happening?

I don't know what might be causing it, but have you tried the usual deleting your AIPrefs file or re-installing?

Also, Georgia, it sounds like your system resources might well be two low to run both programs. Both Illustrator and PhotoShop require a healthy amount of power. Do you Defrag regularly and keep plenty of freespace (at least a couple of gigs) on your working and caching drives?
