Sun 1394 Camera - Sun Solaris

Hi all, We've got a Sun Firewire 1394 camera here attached to a Blade 1000. I'm interested in using it to grab a picture for our brand new lab web page but i'm not willing to invest hours of effort into it. I've done a bit of googling to look for easy solutions but have struggled to find anything. Anybody got any suggestions of what i could use to get a picture and write it to a file? Thanks Ade...

Thanks Rich - you make me realise i didn't get accross what i want to do
    very well.

As opposed to a single solution, i'm more looking for something that i
can run from cron every minute or so to get a pic from the camera and
dump to a file for archiving. We've got some intersting things going on
in this lab which would make it very useful to have an archive of
    pictures in this manner.

There doesn't seem to be anything much other than SunForum that can be
used for accessing these Sun camers, which strikes me as rather
    unhelpful, to be honest.....

Anyhow a friend wrote a simple app that read images from the card
