Sun Blade 1000 - display problem - Sun Solaris

I have a Sun Blade 1000 - I have moved it from one place to another reconnected but it says on the monitor that there is "No Connection" and to "Check Signal Cable" - it is all plugged in correctly as far as I can tell. Any ideas?...

I don't suppose you have one of those dual input monitors (small button and
2 orange LEDs on the lower left to switch between displays 1 and 2) and have
it set to the wrong one...

Nope, but I also notice that when powering the Base unit on, the
case light comes on but the power light on the button does not.

ok Ive got some display now (I won't be turning it off as it doesn't
come back unless I leave it for a long period of time - strange),
when I run a "test-all" from the prom level I get this error
it's the first thing that occurs, then the test aborts:-

    Testing /upa8,480000/SUNW,ffb0,0
    Rejecting alloc-mem!

did you reset the machine before test-all? you cannot perform many
tasks in OpenBoot after booting an operating system. OpenBoot memory
allocation is of the things that fails after an operating system takes
over management of the machine's memory. basically, after STOP-A or
Solaris 'halt' you cannot do very much.
