    Default Sun Monitors

    Hi,
I purchased a Ultra 10 off ebay and I wanted to know if there are any
problems using a regular VGA monitor (IIyama VisionMaster Pro 17)? I assume
that since it is just a standard VGA output this would be fine. In the x86
version of Solaris 9 I use kdmconfig to configure keyboard, mouse, and
monitor values, is there a similar tool for the SPARC version?
    Thanks,
    CLW

I don't recall Sparc 20 as having onboard video. It would depend on
    what video card you have.

Most monitors available today are multisync and will work with most
cards. Making an older 13W3 card connect to a vga cable correctly is
    usually the more difficult problem.

You mean like the onboard SX that just required a VSIMM?

You just need the 13W3 to VGA adaptor.
