    You would have to modify the machine.config or web.config file to achieve
    this. Add a section for that browser to the <browsercaps> element. It is
    possible that Netscape has something on their web site to make this easier,
    such as a sample <browsercaps> element for their browsers.

    To be clear - I don't have issues with non-MS browsers.. I just want a
    standards-compliant browser, I don't care who makes it...

    validator controls is done on the client side so it depends on the browser.
    I check the text box for correct information on the server side so no matter
    what browser the client is using, it works fine.
