    Default SuSe Linux for pSeries

I would like to have confirm that SuSe sell a Linux distribution
compiled at 64 bit for pSeries (Power - RS/6000). I entered in touch
with them and I got confirm, but I guess they are referring to PowerPC
    (a lot of people mistake...)

    Hi don ...

    SUSE is correct. RS/6000 44P Model 150 has a PowerPC processor @
375Mhz. That is a 32-bit processor and SuSE 7 or later will run on
that. That will be the same distribution for Mac.

    Cheers.

Just put SuSE on a 43P150, it gets a bit tricky with the boot loader,
but there are plenty of install docs that talk you through it.

My mistake: 44P-170 (numbers of CPU: 1)
Using Debian for PowerPC how much amount the loss of performance?
