SVCD without Toast? - Mac Applications & Software

Is it possible to burn an SVCD without Toast? All methods I've read about involve using Toast for the final burn. Also, does anyone know if Panther will include the ability to burn not only SVCDs, but multi-session CD-Rs as well? It would be nice . . ....

I do have a superdrive, but it's listed as a Pioneer DVR-105 in System
Profiler. So assume this is ok, then?

The DVR-105 is supposedly compatible, but I don't have one to try it
out. My iMac has the DVR-104 (which isn't), but my external Que! Fire
is compatible (hooked to the G4/400) and that worked fine with cdrdao.
