Default Swap images

Right, I'll try to explain this as best I can...
I'm working on a commerce site. I have created a map in Illustrator which has
different versions - the actual map stays the same but, for example all bars
are located by numbered yellow "blobs", another version of the map has all
restaurants located by numbered red blobs.

I'm sure this is simple and a rollover image/behavior seems to heading in the
right direction BUT, can I have a navigation bar above the map and, when the
user mouses over/clicks the yellow "Bars" button, the map changes to that
version i.e. the original map just showing the location blobs of the bars?

If this is possible, is it possible for this version of the map to remain
there until another button on the navbar, say Restaurants is moused over?

Many thanks.

Yes... see this site, mouse over "winter, spring, fall" If that's what
you'r talking about, just view the code and use whatever you want. It's all
mouse-over behaviours.

Why would you need to use anything other than DW's image swaps?

Hi Murray 'ACE'! Probably didn't explain it enough. Try this link;

http://sheffield-central.com/test.htm

It's only a lash-up and the links won't work, but I need to hav a navbar of
approx 12 buttons - Music, Clothes, Bars, etc. etc above the map and, when
clicked the map below changes to give a map containing color-coordinated
'blobs' showing the locations of this genre of business.
I thought Swap image was basically for rollovers? and also only accepts
same-sized images? I need around 12 versions of this map to swap when the
relevant navbar button is clicked (same size map but different colored blobs.
Ta! (Oh, and pleeeeese no CSS, not up to it yet!)
