Swatches palette: global rgb?
I'm just curious...why do the global-color swatches show up in the Swatches palette when I have the document and the Color palette set up in RGB.
Cheers, Toni

Do you know what a global swatch is?
My impression is that you do not want global swatches. Is that correct?

Re: Swatches palette: global rgb?
Hi John,
Thanks for responding.
Do you know what a global swatch is?
Yes, it's a swatch that has a small white triangle in the lower-right corner. It indicates that it's a global color rather than a non-global color. But my understanding is that global colors only work in CMYK mode.
My impression is that you do not want global swatches. Is that correct?
No, global colors are really useful. I was just curious as to why the Swatches palette in RGB mode has global color swatches, since it's my understanding that global colors don't work in RGB mode. I was just curious why they show up when everything in a document is set for RGB.
I suppose I should mention that I'm still waiting for my CD to get here. In the meantime I'm working with the 11.0.0 tryout version, which I assume isn't updateable (is that a word?).
Cheers, Toni
