    Default swf delays ignored

I created an SWF outside of adobe. The delays for the frames are seemingly ignored, with the movie progressing at about one second per frame. Is there something I can do about this?

I should clarify -- The delays are observed in the animation software I used, but if I open the SWF in IE or RealPlayer, for example, I get the one second rate.

What is the animation software that you use? Does it have it's own frame rate settings or timline?

Ulead GIF Animator. Yes, the frame properties include delays in 1/100 sec units.

This is not really supported by Adobe; you may want to check with Ulead GIF Animator to see if they support importing SWF files and can maintain the frame rate.

Thank you. May I just ask for clarification? When you say "not really
supported", do you mean that this is simply an icompatibility issue, or are you
saying Adobe would have no comment on the incompatibility?

No worries, yes that was not a very clear response from me.

We don't test all 3rd party application to see if they are compatible.... if
the problem occurs with Ulead GIF Animator I would suggest contacting them. I
would be happy to help you more with this issue, but I don't have Ulead GIF
    Animator to test with.

Great! I will follow your suggestion and see what Ulead says. Thanks very much!
