    Default SWF import ID3.1

    hello,

I've just read that if you wanted to use SWF in ID.31 you have
    to convert it to Quicktime.

When I place QT-movie into ID why does the first frame look like shit?
when it plays it looks ok.

    Maybe your video is poo.

How was it created? What codec? Are you referring to the screen quality or the print quality?

No, not true. If you are on the Windows platform, you can import SWF files and the Flash player will play the movie for you. On the Mac platform QT will play all file formats. But that still means that you can import a SWF.

Try switching to the High Resolution display under View>Display Performance.

I've been able to import MX. But I have had problems with that. I think the main problem is that you can't use "live" text in the movie. Or something like that. But I have been able to import MX.

I do have one more question.

When i place a animated SFW and export it to PDF.. it displays a thumb but in pixels (jpg) but poor quality... as soon i press on the swf it kind off goes to vector based. (pefect)

How can i get better quality of the thumb.. were can i change these settings? Is this in ID or maybe Acrobat?
