    Excellent choice!

FYI, you can mac download software from
    www.versiontracker.com
    www.macupdate.com

    and of course newsreaders:

    MacSOUP - shareware
    Hogwasher - shareware
    Halime - freeware

I'm a long-time Gravity user myself, in part for its extensive filtering
abilities. I don't use a newsreader much on my Mac laptop, but of those
I've tried, I like Hogwasher the most. Or more appropriately... I
dislike it the least. All the newsreaders on the Mac I've tried take
some getting used to because they are markedly different from any
Windows newsreader I've ever used, and quite frankly are even counter-
intuitive in some ways, IMHO. Hogwasher does have some nifty features
that Gravity is lacking in, though I do miss the quickfilter that
"Super" Gravity has. One other newsreader for the Mac that I think is
worth looking into is Thoth, which has a quickfilter-type feature if you
find that to be a must-have.

BTW.... I see you are still on Gravity 2.5, so I suppose you are
wondering what I was talking about regarding Super Gravity. One of the
original programmers has continued to work on Gravity in his spare time,
so there are unofficial updates available.
