Table & Cell Border Colors?

    Default Table & Cell Border Colors?

    I created a layout table and added some cells. I figured out how to add a
    background color to the cell and table, but I can't figure out how to add a
    border color. I switched to Standard View and saw the option to set the border
    color for the table - but it doesn't display when I look at it in the browser.
    Further, I don't see an option to set the border color of a cell.

    Can someone please help? Thanks.

    There is no HTML attribute to reliably set the border color of tables/cells.
    To do that, you'd have to go to CSS, which is an excellent way to do this.
    For example, this rule in an embedded or linked stylesheet will turn all
    borders of the designated cell red -

    td.special { border:1px solid red; }

    .....

    <td class="special">my borders are red</td>
    <td>but mine are not</td>
