Table Text won't justify
I'm putting together a directory where I've used tables to create the directory and the table is composed of 4 columns and several rows. The justification palette allows me to top, bottom and middle justify the content of the table but when I click the fully justified option nothing happens. I want all the pages to look even (fully justified), any ideas?

Re: Table Text won't justify
Which justification palette? Are you looking for your table to enlarge to fill the column? You can do that with the mouse by hovering your text cursor over the bottom edge of the table until the icon changes to a double arrow. Then hold down Shift and drag the bottom of the table down to the bottom of the text frame.
If you're doing a lot of work with fitting tables, you might find my TableTweaker scripts handy. Download them from:

Re: Table Text won't justify
Hi Dave,
Thanks for your reply. I'm not trying to get the column sizes to change but rather trying to get the text within the table to fill the vertical depth of the table area (8" deep). The justification palette I'm referring to is the one you see towards the right side of the screen at the top when you have the selection tool active as opposed to the one you see when you're using the text tool. It's letting me have the text of the table aligned at the top, middle or bottom of the box but not justifying it. I don't know anything about scripts, but I'll take a look at the link you provided.

Re: Table Text won't justify
Given the customizability of the InDesign UI, the location on the screen isn't very helpful, I'm afraid. Are you talking about the Control palette or the Table palette? You should be using the Table palette.
