Tabs are underlined - Adobe Indesign Windows

Hello, I've noticed that in ID 2.0, if you had text, then a tab, then text, and selected the whole line, and underlined it, just the text was underlined. In ID CS, the entire line, including the tabs, is underlined. When I open 2.0 doents, I have to go through and select each tab and deselect underline for it. Often times, these 2.0 files are customer files, so I really have to watch for them. Is there a setting that I can do in CS that would change it back to 2.0 behavior and not underline the tabs? Thanks, Sue...

    hmmmm

well you could do a Find/Change

    Find What: [tab character]
    Change To: [tab character]

    Find Format: Underline *on*
    Change Format: Underline *off*

    what a pain though...

I suspect that this change (which I had never noticed) relates to the new custom underline features. I could see there being quite an uproar if you couldn't apply them to tabs.

Unless the issue here is that the tabs in these doent should not have had underline applied to them because they weren't underlined in 2.x (as opposed to 2.x ignoring the underline).

    Thanks guys,
I can do the find and replace (Thanks, Ann-Marie), but I was curious if there was a simple setting I could set to change the behavior. I understand why they changed it, the change has been helpful in other situations, it's just one more thing to look out for when converting 2.0 docs.
    Thanks,
    Sue
