tabs for KGuitar ?
Hi.
Been running tabledit in WINE on my ubuntu linux system. It works ok(ish),
but behaves eccentrically at times and sometimes doesn't do what it's
told.
The only native linux guitar tab playing/reading program I know of is KGuitar,
which I installed via apt-get. Looks great, but I haven't found any tabs
that are in a format it will load. It claims to be able to read .tab
files, but I downloaded a bunch of them and none of them would load.
Anyone know where I can find some tabs that will load in kguitar?
Preferably classical genre.

Only problem is, I hate the interface at mysongbook.com. I think firefox
1.5 is somehow preventing the files from downloading 1/2 the time.
any other archives of .gp3 files around that you know of?

work. There area several links to the file even on debians package
site so you can download it with no problem. You have to unzip the
file into your home directory and make the shell script executable so
once you get it, tar xzvf then chmod 700 DGuitar.sh, then launch it
from a console window and it works like a champ. I picked it up last
night and it seems to work great.

through but eventually you'll get and save most of what you want and wont
have to worry about it anymore. I used to have a HUGE archive of these
things myself until my pc bombed on me so im on my second round of
downloading what i want and the site is by far worse with popups and crap
than it was two years ago. I think I can deal with it for what I get in
return.
