TEAM MM please help - will my site hang ?
I have found that with my Norton AV software set to block or prompt for
ActiveX downloads that visiting the following websites result in Norton
intervening:
www.honda.com
www.benjerry.com
www.coraccess.com/
The following websites can be viewed with no visible Norton Intervention.
www.ford.com
www.warner.com
www.macromedia.com
www.evb.com/link.php?project,52
I do not understand the basis for Norton choosing which sites to block. This
of considerable concern to me in the design of my own website. What is going on
? How can I program around it ?
Flash player 7.0 r14 is installed on my browsing machine
Thank You,

Re: TEAM MM please help - will my site hang ?
I have Nortons as well, and on a relatively high level of protection, but I didn't have an issue with any of the sites you mentioned.

Thank you for your feedback. The mystery deepens. There is a specfic
setting to block ActiveX under Norton. It can be set to block all, prompt,
and allow all.
I wonder if the player version or having MX studio installed on my machine
have any bearing.
Anyone else having blocking problems ? I know from the archives that at
least one other person experienced this.
