It is the installer for Adobe Reader.
Once you have installed Adobe Reader on your system you can safely delete it.

I would strongly recommend keeping it. You will need it to reinstall,
and maybe even to upgrade.
When you download any software there's always a program like this, the
"installer". I keep them all together for future use.
But you don't need them for everyday use.
