I have a template that points to folders in our secure folder.

I try to make a change to the template and say to update the files and it
says that the files need to be checked out first. I then say yes to all.
It then comes back and says that it can't check out these files as they are
checked out by "Jay". When I look at my local folder - the files are
read-only and are showing that way on my site window. There should be a red
check there.

I looked at the remote folder and see that there are .LCK files in that
folder (as there should be if they are checked out). But why are they not
showing that way on my machine?

When I try to open the file, it says that Jay has the files checked out. At
that point, I would have assumed that the file would now show a red check,
but it doesn't.

How can that happen?
