Template friendly DC meta tag generator?
Hi all,
Does anyone know of a Dublin Core meta tag generator that works with
templates? I've tried every one that I can find in the Exchange and they all
break when used on a templated page.
Our entire site is in templates with a single editable region in the document
head. I need to find a meta generator that will find and use this editable
region.
Sean.

And which specific ones did you test (links?). I'm not aware of any
offhand, but those that are will need to know what you've already tried
so they can maybe make a suggestion.

They don't insert anything into a templated document. Giving the normal
template error msg "Making this change would require changing code that is
locked by a template...".
The ITS generator sometimes successfully inserts the tags but always gives the
above error message and if I edit existing tags it duplicates them.
Good point.> And which specific ones did you test (links?).

There was another one but I can't seem to find it.

isn't forcing it to add to it. Perhpas contact the developers to see if
they can update it to accomodate templates.

Re: Template friendly DC meta tag generator?
Yes! That one works. Nicely done Danilo.
It doesn't pick up existing tags but at least it doesn't choke or complain when used on a templated page.
