Default Template only updates one webpage?

Hi

I have a number of online Forms, which were created from a DW Template.
However when I amend the template it only applies to two forms (and not the
other four)?

This is the template
http://www.ratecollectionagencyni.gov.uk/Templates/forms_template.dwt

This is the form it worked on

http://www.ratecollectionagencyni.gov.uk//forms/Apply_to_setup_Direct_Debit.html

Here's one of the ones it didn't apply to?
http://www.ratecollectionagencyni.gov.uk//forms/Query_Feedback_Form.html

Any help or corrective action much appreciated.

Thanks

What is it that is not being updated? Where are you making template
changes?

Here are six ways to make changes not propagate from Template to child -

1. Rename the Templates folder
2. Move the Templates folder to some other folder level in the site other
than root level
3. Move a template out of the Templates folder.
4. Make changes to an editable region of the template (which will not
propagate)
5. Assume that template changes can be uploaded to the server without also
uploading the changed local files
6. Corrupt the site cache so that the link between template and child page
is broken

The latter problem can be repaired by using SITE | Advanced > Recreate Site
Cache, and the five others can be fixed by just not doing them. Have you
done any of those?

Where do I define/check "read-only" or not?
I certainly didn't do this on purpose if that's the case?

Murray
Nothing is being updated.
When I open the template and make the required changes to propagate forms-wide
I get a dialogue" update all files based on this template" and it only shows
two files?

Re: the six errors:-
1-No
2 - No
3 - No
4 - ?
5 - No
6 - No

"and the five others can be fixed by just not doing them" :(

Surely there must be a way round this?

I don't know what we are trying to get around yet, but it seems like you
might be expecting changes to an editable region to propagate from Template
to child. That cannot happen. Is that it?

When I actioned this from my PC in work the template only applied to two forms.
I have just repeated it on my home PC and it works? Presumably something to do
with the local Site structure differing on the two PCs. Stupid mistake on my
part rectified by copying the working structure to the other PC.

Murray can you do me a big favour and please remove my URL from your replies?
Wouldn't want any technical queries showing up after a user search for my
Company Website ;)

Sorry - I have no ability to do that.

Maybe, but it doesn't sound right to me. If the directory structure from
the root folder down is the same, and if the Templates folder is at the root
level of the site with just that name, it should be working.

Can't you just edit your previous message to remove them like I have done?

If you really can't who do I contact to remove them please as it's not acceptable to have them listed?

Your edits do not reflect in the NNTP forums. Once they are there, they are
there.

Sorry. It's not acceptible to have them listed?
