    Default Templates & fancy stuff

I'm trying to figure out how (or if) I can put something like a flv video clip
in an editable region. Dreamweaver grumbles about me asking it to make changes
in locked regions. There is an editable region in the <head> section which
you'd think it could use, and I've tried making the necessary <body> attributes
    editable with no success.

Can this be done - or do templates only work with your basic HTML tags?

Which DW. Which OS? Are you trying to put a video into the head region?

DW8 on a PC running XP.
No, I was just trying to install the Flash video in the header. But when you
install the video, it puts a whack of Javascript in the head section - and
    that's what created the error.

I found a solution, though. The trick is to install a video on the template
page itself, then swap it for the correct ones on the derived pages, or just
    change the streamName parameters.

    thanks
