    Default test, do NOT ignore!

    Dear list,

Please answer to this mail to me in private (no problem, I can handle a
few thousands of mails :), as it looks that my mails I do not propagated
to the list (and the whole usenet).

I send my mails to the newsgroup, and there are signs that my mails are
not recognized by the majority of the list (e.g. in the 'Need some
addition in Ruby/Tk' thread I have sent a message, and 16 hours after
somebody mentioned my name in a context that shows that he didn't read
    my message).

    Thanks in advance,
    Ferenc

You do know that the gateway from the Usenet newsgroup (comp.lang.ruby)
to the mailing list (ruby-talk@ruby-lang.org) is broken, correct? This
has been discussed repeatedly over the last few days. That means
anything that you post to comp.lang.ruby is (for the time being) going
to go unread by those who are only subscribed to the mailing list.

    P.S.

It is my understanding that the connection still works in the other
direction: that messages sent to the ruby-talk mailing list will be
    mirrored to comp.lang.ruby.
