text alignment buttons not active
I am trying to use contribute align left, center and right buttons to format
text and images but am unable to. They are greyed out. What could be causing
the problem. From a another post they said the fixed it by droping a <td>
table tag that had alignment info in it. But my page does not have any tables
in it.
I attached the page hmtl.

You (if you have admin rights) or your administrator will have to check the
Users and Roles settings.
1. in the menu go to Edit, Administer Websites
2. choose your site
3. go to Users and Roles
4. pick your role, click Edit Role Settings
5. adjust the items Editing and Styles and Fonts to display what you need/want

I have the same problem. I have set the user role to have complete access vin Editing and Styles, but the alignment options are still grayed out.
Any other thoughts?

Ditto. This has happened to ALL of our sites. I'm the administrator, with full
privileges, and I can't edit text alignments. I don't see anything anywhere in
any of the stuff that we have which should be preventing this. Besides, my
users were able to edit text alignments in the past.
I haven't bothered to talk to Adobe Tech Support, as I have a bit of trouble
getting them to even talk to me once I get them on the phone--and that's if I
can actually get a person before their stupid phone system decides that my line
is idle and hangs up on me (while I'm sitting on hold waiting for somebody to
answer my call). We supposedly have enterprise-level support too.
