    Default Text container!

When I continue the text to another column, it takes 2 rows from the previous column. I want to transfer just one row to another column.

    Why it happenes?

    Thanks

With nothing selected, check the Text Frame Options dialog (Ctrl-B, I think). Do you have the number of columns set to 2? If so, there's your problem: change it to 1.

Check the keep option in your paragraph settings. It sounds as if you have
Keep Lines Together checked, with the first two and last two lines being set
to stay together. So when you push the second line in a paragraph to another
column, it drags the first one with it.

Oh, I'm getting rows and columns mixed up -- having a senior moment this morning already!

    Ken is most certainly right.

Comes of trying to sleep on your desk and work a spreadsheet at the same
    time.
