Text Cursor Jumping (MXa-10.3.4)
Looking for ideas:
When I try to insert my text cursor into a text box, it is inserting it
somewhere else (back up in the text box). In fact, I can double-click on a
word, it gets highlighted. When I go to use the arrow keys to move the cursor
one line up, the cursor jumps up many lines to where I had last typed
something. A single click with the text tool on a selected text box only
inserts the cursor in the same place--up many lines in the text box. I can use
the arrow keys to move the cursor back down to where I want, but that is a
waste of time to have to do everytime.
Custom page size: 6.625" x 9.7125"
Text box has two columns of equal size/spacing.
Text box is an index for a map, so there are 3 tab stops per column.

Thanks

Re: Text Cursor Jumping (MXa-10.3.4)
Further Clarification:
Upon some time-wasting investigation, it appears to only be doing this in the
second column. Behavior is normal in the first/left column.
And then...it works in the spaces made by the tab stops. But can't handle
clicking on a word--just jumps up to the top area of the column.
grr.

Yeah, that sort of thing happened too often so I now never use more than
once column in a text box. Now I use linked text boxes which give me
fewer problems (though there are problems still there.)
