text editing and pop ups
:| I am trying to work with the new studio 8 and when I try to edit text it
will not let me get past a letter or two and this blasted popup comes up
wanting me to subscribe to some store... and then I still can't type the word
that I want to change.
how in the world do I diable that function and allow me to edit my text? this
is very frustrating and happens even from scratch. so hense I have to go back
to studio 7 to make it work.......... grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
any help would be most welcome admin@plbdesignshosting.com

Re: text editing and pop ups
Sounds like you have malware. DW doesn't do this....

Re: text editing and pop ups
ok I called them back again and got someone different this time on the phone...
they did not know what was going on... so they had me uninstall it and sent me
a link for a new download... that seemed to take care of the issue.. was the
strangest thing I ever saw and I thought I would go mad trying to use the
program......... I swear... I wonder how many other people have run up on the
same issue?? has anyone heard of this before? I sent in the install file I had
originally used so that they can look at it... it is just wierd I tell you...
anyway I got it all reinstalled and so far it is working ok....... but
boy........ it had a mind of its own... like certain keys were short cut
keys... I could not type even one word....... let alone a complete sentence...
thanks so much for your input...............
