Text, links and CSS - Macromedia Dreamweaver

How can I make some text at the bottom of my page, with a link, appear on every page using CSS. I want to have a link at the bottom of a page1 (say a copyright notice with a link to a copyright page) but I want it in CSS so I don't have to change every page manually should I wish to alter it. I hope you see what I mean. The CSS creator doesn't seem to be able to do it. Any pointers to tutorials also very much welcome. TIA....

    Tag:

    You would need to put the text on every page using whatever method you
    desire -

    1. Manually adding it on each page
    2. Using Templates or Library items to put it on each page
    3. Using Server-side includes to put it on each page

    Once it is on each page you can then style it with CSS that is either a)
    embedded in each page, or b) linked to on each page, e.g.,

    <td class="footer">This text will be at the bottom of each page (because I
    put it there) and will be styled by my CSS</td>

    In your stylesheet you would have -

    ..footer { font-family:Verdana, Arial, sans-serif; font-size:xx-small;
    font-color:blue; }

    I think you might be confusing CSS with something else, either an include or
    a Library item.

    CSS provides all kinds of styling for HTML elements, but doesn't do what
    you're describing. You can use CSS to make that copyright notice look the
    same on every page, but you need some text and HTML tags to put the
    copyright notice there.

    Check out Dreamweaver Library items.. they should work for you.

    Hope that might help.
