text member text bold hilight

I am creating a dynamic search which shows the search results as hyperlinks to different parts of the movie.
After selecting a result the user needs to clik on the go button
Is there a way to make the text which is clicked bold or highlighted
The problem i have is how to get the line no. which is clicked by the user and make it bold.
