    Default Text No-Wrap

Using Illy CS on a brand new Dell Win XP with plenty of horsepower, I have encountered a stubborn problem. The document is set up to 8.5 x 11 in CMYK mode. I want to use an imported PSD / CMYK photo placed (for example, on Layer 2)along with my paragraph text (also on Layer 2) with the PSD photo residing above the text in the same layer.

I get a repeated error from Illy that the object, in this case the PSD photo must reside in the same layer group as the text. Well it is and it does. I get no text wrap and higher blood pressure?

    What is the fix?

    Thanks

Are you selecting the text or the image? (Select the image, not the text).

Make sure you created a text frame (drag standard Type tool to create text box. Put or type your text into it. Be sure the image is in front of text. Select both image and text, Object, Wrap Text, Make, set your offset and voila.
