Text problems in MX

I just made the move from Fireworks 4 to mX, and I have to say Im disappointed and will move back unless I can resort this. Whenever I enter text with just fill, and no stroke, the text I get is just blocks of the fill color, no discernible text. Like the text has been highlighted with the fill colour I used, the only way I can fix this is to use a stroke color aswell as a fill color, instead of just a fill colot. This is something I had no problems with in 4.0. Has anyone else seen this problem or heard of it.

That's the first time anyone has reported a problem like that. Can you
post a screen shot of what you are talking about?
