Default Text ( san serif Ls and 1s) in Illustraitorand InDesign Files appear bold in Acrobat.

Text in Illustrator and In Design Files appear bold in Acrobat. It only happens on the Ls and 1s in san serif fonts and only if the transparency has not been flattened (but text has been converted to outlines.) They seem to print fine but it is still a bit of a concern. Has any one ever seem this before and how do I fix it?
