Text Thread is goofed up after converting a Quark document
I converted a QuarkXPress 4.1 document into InDesign CS and the text thread is all goofed up compared to the original Quark document. The goofiness is the first Text Frame on page 1 might be linked to a text frame unrelated to the story (like an photo caption) on page 3, then to perhaps another related text frame on page 3, then back to the second text frame on page 1...the craziness continues. However, some of the text frames in the thread are linked in the proper order (like frames 2 & 3 on page 1 and frame 1 on page 2, then goofiness). You might say "just relink the threads..." but it is a 50+ page document.
InDesign appears to be consistent with the goofy threading in that each time I open the Quark document into InDesign it does the same pattern of threading nearly every time. I tested the same thing with another long-document from Quark and it goofed up the threading, although not in the same pattern.
I'm using InDesign CS 3.0.1 on Windows 2000
Any ideas?
