The Evil Xs
I run on a windows XP system. I haven't been able to play games or watch flash
movies because it says "Flash player not detected" and there is an X at the top
left-hand side of the screen which i think indicates that it can't download. So
i go to download the flash player but then the flash player won't download
because there is an X in the top left hand side of the screen. Please tell me
how i can get rid of the Xs.

I'm having the same exact problem. I uninstalled my player b/c I was having
problems with it thinking I would just re-install but now I cant. I'm using
Win98.
When I try to download the standalone it says something like it cant connect
to the website and to try again later. Wish someone had a solution! If you find
