Threads, debug guidlines - Mac Programming

Hello NG In my application I have a simple threading ( not DO ). That works fine in normal conditions. But if I stress it real hard ( starting a bunch of threads communicating with a server over a bsd style socket ) it *can* happen that it crashes with SIGBUS signal. I found that I can not debug that error, perhaps course I don't know how to do that. I have tried this also MallocDebug but I did not help me out. Is there a good doent about thread-save programming in general ( for beginners ) and/or a guidline ...

    Default Threads, debug guidlines

    Hello NG

In my application I have a simple threading ( not DO ). That works fine in normal
conditions. But if I stress it real hard ( starting a bunch of threads communicating with a server
over a bsd style socket ) it *can* happen that it crashes with SIGBUS signal. I found that I
can not debug that error, perhaps course I don't know how to do that.
I have tried this also MallocDebug but I did not help me out. Is there a good doent
about thread-save programming in general ( for beginners ) and/or a guidline how to debug
    under these conditions.

Thank you for your time and help

Are you getting a core-dump file? Loading that up in gdb might be the
    best place to start.
